The baby...

Here are some pics taken in the hospital last week. Ignore how bad I look! It was a loooooonnnnngggg week!










Please don't think I am a bad mom. She still gets her bottle at bed time. When she was in the hospital, that is all she got because she wouldn't drink out of anything else. Comfort thing I guess....

Halloween... (UPDATED)

Ok, I have no clue what to dress Samantha as for Halloween, but here are some of the costumes that I have found and like, along with some quick notes about them.


I just think that this is adorable....

She is definitely a little monster right now (still cute though)
I just thought that this octopus was different and kind of cute.
She was a fish last year, why not a turtle this year?


Ok, now for a couple of lion suits:

I would probably have to say this is my favorite lion suit.
This one is cute too.....

So, I probably like the lion the best out of all of them, but I'm just not sure. Let me know what you think.

I don't post like I should, but here is a video of my little girl....

Update...

Here is a quick update on my NOT so little girl.

She had her 18 mo. appt. on Monday. She weighed 28.4 lbs (90th percentile) and was 34.5" (above 100%) tall.

She got one shot and took it like a champ. She watched it go in and never made a sound. She was so good and minded everything that the doctor said. He said that she is "a picture of perfect health". I was and am so proud of her!!!!

Sorry Jenn....here are some pics from our trip to TX 2 weeks ago (talk about a whirlwind trip). I sure wish we would have had more time to visit with everyone. It seems like there is never enough time when you are there to visit family.

Dancing...

Here is Samantha dancing to Choo Choo Soul on the Disney channel before going to "school" the other day. (Sorry if it is a little dark, I just grabbed my regular camera and it doesn't have a light for video. If she sees me holding the camera, she quits doing whatever it is that she is doing, so I had to do it quick!)

So, here she is in all her glory...black eye, cut, and all!

She decided to take a step off of the porch on Friday evening and took a tumble. We have a concrete rain guard right next to the porch steps and had she not hit that, she would have been fine. We were VERY lucky that she didn't get hurt any worse. She is such a trooper...cried for all of 5 minutes. I would have cried for much, much, MUCH longer!

She is definitely one tough cookie.....

Sorry that they are blurry, but it is hard to get a picture when she is after your phone. Gotta love the picture phones when you only have a minute to catch them....





The weather was finally nice enough to get her outside yesterday. We took a walk around the block (she walked the majority of it), so it took us a while, then she played in the driveway and on the porch. It is supposed to be around 60 tomorrow, so we will be out after work again. Then, they are calling for snow this weekend and temps back in the 30's, so who knows when we might get out again. I reckon we have to take advantage for the next day or two!
